Designed with heel battered feet in mind, we consulted the big guns in leading podiatry to develop a caring and comfy shoe that loves your feet, yet is super-strong and supportive enough to wear all day long.

The Redfoot brand is the brain child of The Bacup Shoe Company. Established in 1928 in Bacup (obviously) the town is a lovely little area steeped in a rich history of shoemaking. One of the few footwear companies left, throughout the years our company has successfully manufactured and supplied shoes to many of the leading and famous high street retailers. Then we thought it was time to create our own baby...

Our team of award-winning designers & technicians grafted away for two years and in 2007, over one hundred proto-types later, the final design was born. Thanks to its cutting-edge technology with puncture-proof and durable soles ideal for outside wear, we believe the Redfoot sole is the best possible design in the world for a foldable shoe. Not that we like to brag or anything...

Next came the fun bit: A foldable flat shoe doesn‘t sound very sexy, right? That‘s when our team of super-stylish designers got their hands on this practical and comfy shoe and transformed it into a line of stunning and trendy designs. As well as our main range, we joined forces with the likes of Sex & the City and Disney to create highly sought-after special collections. Comfortable and fashionable - who said you had to suffer for beauty? Not at Redfoot you don‘t.

Redfoot Shoes were the world‘s first foldable shoe and every year the nifty Redfoot team continues to develop more innovative products. Our sleek and stylish men‘s loafer is the perfect shoe for jet-setters and business travellers, the super light folding design is arguably the most technically advanced footwear in the world. Yes really, it‘s that good. Zippyboot is the newest member of the Redfoot fold, a fantastically adaptable and versatile Australian sheepskin boot which is two boots in one and can be worn in five different ways - genius!

Nobody cares about feet as much as Redfoot, that‘s why as a final seal of approval, all of our products are independently tested by Intertek Plc. footwear technologists. Only then, after these final tests are passed with flying colours, do we allow our footwear to be sold.
